NFL player arrested for drunk driving, wrong way accident

It shouldn't need to be said, but drunk driving is an awful behavior that can lead to people losing their lives in the most senseless and ridiculous ways possible. Drunk driving can also lead to absurd circumstances out on the road, such as people driving the wrong way out on the road. This is exactly what happened to a professional football player recently, catching headlines across the country.

Birth injury case leads to astounding $40 million award

Childbirth is supposed to be a wondrous and happy occasion that completes a family. It is supposed to make two parents elated in ways they have never felt before, and the medical process of delivering a baby is supposed to be a highly protected procedure that ensures the safe and healthy delivery of the child.

Truck driver charged with homicide by vehicle after crash

A massive truck accident that occurred four months ago has become fatal after one of the victims of the wreck passed away due to the injuries suffered in the crash. The investigation is still open at this time and there are few other details available about the wreck.

Fatal crash at turn kills 18-year-old

A usual drive turned into a tragic incident after an 18-year-old homecoming queen was killed in a crash with a tractor trailer in Dawson County. The wreck occurred early Monday morning about a mile away from the 18-year-old's high school. She was navigating a turn in the road when she over-corrected and lost control of the vehicle she was driving. This caused her vehicle to veer into the oncoming lanes, ultimately leading to a head-on crash with the tractor trailer.

Experience in representation needed when medical errors occur

Even the most well-intended of medical procedures or applications of medical care can turn out to be disastrous. It doesn't matter if the medical professionals handling these cases are incredibly experienced or relatively new. The fact of the matter is, anyone can make a mistake. Botched surgeries or flubbed IV placements can cause horrible medical conditions in patients -- and it could even lead to fatal circumstances for the patients.

The checklist that determines the fitness of your pilot

Even if you choose to ignore the signs, you probably have a good idea when it is not safe for you to get behind the wheel of a car. In fact, you can probably remember times when you drove despite the fact that you were not in the best condition for doing so safely. Would you be shocked to learn that some pilots behave the same way?
