Woman killed when crossing the street

A 35-year-old Atlanta, Georgia, woman was killed in an accident after a car struck her when she stepped out into the street. According to the report, the driver who was involved in the catastrophic accident allegedly did not see woman. She had been a bartender and assistant general manager for a nearby pub.

The accident occurred in the early morning, and the woman was not using a crosswalk. After the collision, she was taken to a nearby hospital where she died as a result of her injuries. The Georgia State Patrol do not anticipate that any charges will be filed for this incident.

In many cases when a wrongful death occurs, the surviving family members may be eligible to seek compensation for this loss. This compensation can be used to cover multiple damages, including medical costs, lost wages and funeral expenses. However, many insurance companies attempt to offer a settlement that does not cover all of the losses that resulted from the accident, or they deny the claim outright. Even if the insurance company does offer a settlement, it may be beneficial for the surviving family members to seek an experienced Atlanta attorney who can help them pursue compensation that provides what the family needs to cover the expenses.

The attorney may provide aggressive negotiations in order to fight for a fair compensation. Using the available police reports, accident reconstruction methods and any witness testimony, they may attempt to establish liability for the accident. Once this is done, they may evaluate the full value of the family’s loss to help with negotiations. While most cases are settled outside of court, there are rare cases where the case goes to trial. If this happens, an attorney may be prepared to provide a strong representation in court.
